We are looking for PADI Divemasters with experience, team spirit & passion to join our team.
Salary structure: Monthly salary as per industry standards, commissions and annual profit percentage added.
ABOUT US:
Urban Nomad Adventure is an iconic, busy and successful PADI Dive Centre at India‘s Southeast coast with our Headquarters situated in the heart of Pondicherry.
We are offering Scuba Diving by PADI for all levels from DSD to GoPro as well as other water sports activities like snorkelling, kayaking, sailing and jet kayaking.
With a fleet of own dive boats, own pool and multimedia classrooms our Pondicherry branch is a market leader in ocean sports at India’s East Coast, offering a state-of-the-art facility focusing on high standards and personalized programs for all our customers.
With more than 30 deep and shallow dive sites as well as sweet water lakes, Pondicherry’s coast line has a lot to offer: Artificial and natural reefs draw an abundance of marine life – from nudibranchs to Malabar groupers and majestic whale sharks. Wrecks and natural drop-offs allow even professionals to enhance their skills and guarantee interesting and challenging diving all year round for all levels from beginners to technical diving.
Job requirements:
ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Fluent in English, very good customer relation skills.
Minimum 100 logged dives.
Physically fit to be able to handle rough ocean conditions and currents at times.
Team player with high integrity, responsibility and professional attitude.
PADI DiveMaster renewed.
PADI DSD leadership licence (can be applied through us)
Personal dive accident insurance.
PADI specialties like Deep, S&R, EANitrox, DPhotography, etc.
Passionate about Scuba Diving
Knowledgeable about all PADI standards, course structures and safety requirements
Extra skills like kayaking license, hospitality training or social media knowledge
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assistance to instructor – all levels DSD through to Divemaster.
Guiding dives – boat, shore, night. Guiding other watersport activities like snorkelling, boat rides & kayaking and performing the function of skipper.
Dive Centre maintenance, maintaining & cleaning equipment, boats, vehicles, supporting paperwork, filling tanks, loading the dive truck, sales & customer care, participation in local marketing & PADI Aware programs.
BONUS SKILLS:
Compressor knowledge, social media marketing skills, hospitality training, additional languages, boat licence
