An exciting career opportunity awaits to manage our Dive and Watersports Centre at Best Dives Crossroads. Best Dives Maldives is a company that operates a PADI 5-star dive centre, watersports centre, excursion services and luxury yacht charter in different luxury resorts in the Maldives.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Operational Manager is expected to do the following for the Operation from Best Dives Pvt. Ltd. at Crossroads Maldives:

1.    The Operational Manager, being the overall leader of Best Dives Crossroads, shall be responsible for the operations of diving, water sports, private boat rental and all the related activities and related services. 

2.    Professionally manage the Operation in a manner that will ensure quality service to the guest on the Resort in accordance with the standards and policies of the Resort Operator. 

3.    Ensure that the operation is efficiently managed and advise the Company on ways and means to make the operation more efficient and effective. 

4.    Prepare budget, cost controlling and finance report.

5.    Daily briefings to the designated member of the Resort Management. 

6.    Prepare the daily programs for all the activities organized by the Dive and Water Sports Centre.

7.    Ensure that there is a smooth operation of the activities on the Resort.

8.    Regular quality control on all services/activities provided, including quality control on the maintenance of boats and other equipment.

9.    Prepare the roster for all staff and conduct daily briefings for the staff.

10. Conduct training for the staff, such as sales, customer service, proper conduct and safety trainings.

11. In consultation with and prior approval of the management of the Company do whatever necessary to improve the overall operation of the Dive and Water Sports Center.

Job requirements:

 

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

8.    Adhere to training standards as set by PADI, EFR, DAN, and Best Dives Maldives. 

9.    Follow personal and professional safe diving practices 

10Knowledge in computer particularly in Microsoft Office

11Experience or interest in watersports is a plus
