Description:An exclusive diving centre located in Labuan Bajo servicing the famous Komodo National Park is currently hiring a qualified and passionate Dive Centre Manager to grow the business.
The dive center is on-target to become a PADI 5*Resort soon and has 2 locations in Komodo with Speed Boat service to Komodo National Park.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and run the diving and land tour activities
- Ensuring 5* service to clients
- Ensuring Exceptional safety standards
- Responsible for operational results of the dive centre, including, but not limited to:
- Monthly and yearly budget targets
- On-going sales and marketing strategies
- Maintain good relationship with all vendors and guests
- Over-view of all maintenance to equipment and fleet
- Mentoring/training all staff
- Preserving the highest standards set by PADI and the company
- Liaising with attached Resort
Job requirements:
- 2 years’ experience managing a 5* Dive Center/Resort
- 5 years in the diving industry
- 1 year Komodo National Park Experience
- A PADI Instructor with multiple specialty instructor ratings and EFRI
- Strong and current knowledge of diving activities, marketing, and management skills
- Corporate background is essential or degree in Business/Hotel/Tourism Management
Additional Preferences:
- Good written and spoken English, second language is an advantage
- Technical experience with Bauer, Apeks, and Scubapro is a plus, but can be trained
- Speed boat fleet experience
- Marketing and Social Media background
