Description

Description:
TRACC has positions on its award winning Marine Science A-level available exclusively to dive professionals looking for further career development.

The Cambridge Marine Science A-level (9693) is an internationally recognised qualification and the perfect introduction to the subject. You may already have all the fish id and nudi-spotting skills you could need, but do you have any idea what's actually going on underwater? What brings hammerheads, whalesharks and mantas to favoured locations? Will a new jetty ruin your beach? Why don't dolphins get the bends? What causes the algae to bloom and how dangerous is ciguatara poisoning?

The course is taught by professional marine biologists on location at our reef restoration project in the Celebes sea not far from Sipadan. It's a 14 week intensive course that covers all aspects of marine science from scientific methodology to marine biotechnology.
